Base on the latest decision of the Court of Appeal in April 2017, it revoked the suspended sentence imposed by the Supreme Court on David Pattinson and makes a new order that he serve 2 years in jail.
The Court issued a warrant of arrest to that effect and the said warrant hasn’t been executed as he is not yet found.
On the 22nd of June 2017 at 9 am , the supreme had dismissed the application made by the public prosecutor of restraining order against the owner Mr. David Pattinson for not to enter his yacht.
This dismissal had done for the fact that it is contradicting the proceed of crimes Act. However, the Public prosecutor is in a process of preparing another application for forfeiture to forfeit the Said Yacht Serenity and sale the yacht against her value.
The Value will be given by the ports and harbour authorities to identify her full valuation and to sale as a state property. The yacht was still up at the boat yard waiting for court decision.
Finally, if Mr. David Pattinson is completing his two years sentence then later will be deported immediately
